We are originally from Alaska! The great wilderness.  Yes! We are really brothers.

Of course we headed in different directions in life only to find ourselves guided into sharing the same dream.  I (Ben) was distracted from my love of art in college and earned degrees in Economics and Religion, and found myself working as a crime victim advocate in Washington.  Meanwhile, having fallen in love with photography after I gave him his first digital camera, Vince pursued his passion directly and was offered a position in Seattle working for Jim Garner, one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the World.  With guidance from Jim, we began shooting weddings together and became intoxicated with the love and connections between people while capturing and creating art that tells their story.  This led us here to Boston to develop Avenna Studios and in doing so found the same love and emotion while shooting family portraiture with our lifestyle approach.  We are truly honored to meet and become friends with our couples and families and we look forward to meeting you.
